The adventure continues...
John Blake is back!
PREVIOUSLY...
Serena has been captured by humanoid sea creatures and John Blake rushes to rescue her. As he clambers over the wrecked remains of countless ships he spots a vast collection of old brandy barrels. Interesting... Moving on he sees a group of the horrible monstrosities that snatched his friend gathered round a gnarled old man sitting upon a makeshift throne. And it looks as though the wizened creature intends to eat Serena!
From his vantage point John quickly makes a rough torch using a pack of matches. Then with a shout he launches himself down towards Serena and the grizzled self proclaimed Sea King. Kicking him in the back of the head, John grabs Serena and fends off the sea creatures with the flaming brand. They run back past the massive old brandy storage and John flings the lit torch onto the pile… BOOM! The store explodes and John and Serena make their way back to the Mary Alice.
Once on board John once more begins to fiddle with his watch. Serena asks why, but the mysterious boy won’t talk. Then, the fog begins to gather once more…
