The stars are falling on Bekka’s world…
The day of Bekka’s diving exam has arrived. She’d been training for ages and she only had one chance to pass so was more than a little nervous. For the test her dive ‘sister’, Kay, instructed her to gather some sand from the seabed out near Beginner’s rock, just off the beach. Luckily Bekka’s people are born with webbed hands and feet and can hold their breath for long periods of time. Halfway through the test though, Bekka suddenly spotts a massive whale looming out of the depths… The next moment she's lying on the beach with no memory of how she got there! Much to her surprise she has the sand in one hand but more than that, she was completely dry!
