PREVIOUSLY…
Serena’s parents’ battered yacht finally reaches port after the storm that snatched their daughter away. Serena’s younger brother, Roy, explains to the port authority that he saw a ship through the fog, The Mary something….
Meanwhile back in San Francisco Danielle Reid is researching the various sightings of The Mary Alice. Her boss at the International Marine Organisation doesn’t like it though and makes a call to a contact at the CIA. It seems more is known about The Mary Alice than it seems…
Back on board The Mary Alice Serena can’t sleep and tiptoes out of bed. She spots John Blake mending an antique watch that he seems to carry everywhere with him. Suddenly a warning horn blares out. A US Navy vessel has snuck alongside the schooner and orders it to strike sails and prepared for boarding. John Blake hears the warning and then the mysterious fog begins to gather! The Mary Alice disappears leaving the Navy vessel behind…
