The Spider Moon

This magical fantasy adventure opens with stars falling across the land. The people believe it to be a sign of the end of the world. Their hope lies in the construction of a giant floating island which can carry them all away from this doom. And it is this hope that drives Bekka, a young diving-trainee, to become the best she can be – because the divers are key to providing the fuel for the floating isle. But Bekka is fated to play a bigger role in the future of her people. One that will take her to far off places, and ensnare her in events that will shape the future of her world…

Kate is a big fan of Bjork and Muse and loves the movies Perfect Blue and Marie Antoinette. Her favourite book is JM Barrie’s Peter Pan.
